CGC Cards Now Grading the “China Sports” Cards Produced by QICA
Posted on 5/31/2024
CGC Cards™ is excited to announce that it is now offering authentication and grading services for the "China Sports" cards designed, produced and operated by QICA in Shanghai. Headquartered in Beijing, Qica Culture Media Co., Ltd. (QICA) is the exclusive operating partner of the "China Sports" athlete star cards, which are issued by the China Sports Press Agency. The "China Sports" athlete star cards (also known as the "China Sports" cards) include collectible sports cards featuring world record-holding players, outstanding Chinese athletes and over one hundred Olympic/world champions.
"China Sports" card collectors have various QICA series to collect, which feature high-quality, colorful trading cards of China's most popular athletes. Even the base cards are printed on premium card stock and each set contains several vibrant parallels, serial-numbered inserts and rare autograph cards for collectors to hunt while opening QICA packs!
The "China Sports" cards designed, produced and operated by QICA include athletes from a wide variety of sports, including table tennis, badminton, gymnastics, diving, volleyball, sport shooting, weightlifting, track and field, swimming, MMA and other international competitive events. Champions, medalists, world-record holders and more are all found exclusively on QICA cards.
For example, Chinese sport shooter Yang Qian is featured in the World Record Signature set. In the final of the mixed team’s 10-meter air rifle event at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, Yang Qian and Yang Haoran defeated their opponents 17:13 to win the gold medal, and broke the world record with a score of 633.2 in the qualifying round. Her amazing accomplishment is commemorated on the 2023 QICA China Sports Lingyun World Record Signature #WRS-YQ Yang Qian - Gold graded CGC Gem Mint 10, with an autograph graded CGC 10.
In addition, QICA has also launched the Legendary Signature set with representative legendary figures in various sports as the theme, and iconic Chinese table tennis star Wang Nan is one of them. As one of the most successful female tennis table players of all time, she was ranked as the #1 player in the world for almost four years straight (January 1999 to November 2002), according to the ITTF ranking system. Wang Nan won gold medals at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympic Games, and also won gold at the Table Tennis World Cup and the Table Tennis World Championships. Her legendary table tennis career is commemorated on the 2023 QICA China Sports Lingyun Legendary Signature #LS-WN Wang Nan - Blue Ice graded CGC Gem Mint 10, with an autograph graded CGC 10.
