Clayton Crain Join CGC Cards for an In-House Private Signing Event

CGC Cards™ is thrilled to announce that the Signature Series team will be hosting an exclusive In-House Private Signing event with comic book artist Clayton Crain, who has done incredible work for huge publishers like Marvel, Image and Valiant comics. He will be offering four special signatures for this event. See pricing and details below.

Crain is best known for his exquisite work on Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears, Ghost Rider: Road to Damnation, X-Force and Carnage for Marvel. He worked with Todd McFarlane on Curse of the Spawn for Image Comics and has done work for Valiant Comics on the popular Shadowman series. Crain's artwork has been featured in several different Marvel card and sticker sets over the years including the 2008 Women of Marvel set, the 2011 Rittenhouse Marvel Dangerous Divas and the 2022 Upper Deck Marvel Metal Spider-Man set. Fans can find Crain’s stunning cover work on upcoming series like Ultimate Black Panther, Gargoyles: Quest and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 

Instructions for submitting cards

CGC Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Sunday, October 20, 2024.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After Crain signs the submitted cards, CGC Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for a Clayton Crain Nano signature is $65 per item and includes:

• Clayton Crain's Nano signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for a Clayton Crain Classic signature is $85 per item and includes:

• Clayton Crain's Classic signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for a Clayton Crain Infinity signature is $95 per item and includes:

• Clayton Crain's Infinity signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for a Clayton Crain Murder signature is $125 per item and includes:

• Clayton Crain's Murder signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select the Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
• Select Card or Jumbo Card from the menu, then select CGC SIgnature Series and one of the following from the dropdown menu section:
  CLAYTON CRAIN, NANO SIGNATURE; CLAYTON CRAIN, CLASSIC SIGNATURE; CLAYTON CRAIN, INFINITY SIGNATURE; CLAYTON CRAIN, MURDER SIGNATURE.
• Select "Authentication and Grading" under Select Primary Service.
  
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. 
• IMPORTANT: Please write CC on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Cards no later than Sunday, October 20, 2024, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Sunday, October 20, 2024.

*Cannot be combined with other CGC Private Signing events.

**If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade.
