CGC-certified Pokémon Playtest and Presentation Cards Offered by Heritage Auctions
Posted on 10/15/2024
More than a dozen Pokémon playtest and presentation cards certified by CGC Cards™ are being offered in an ongoing Heritage Auctions sale. Online bidding is already underway for Heritage’s The Origins of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Showcase Auction, which is set to end on October 19, 2024.
A Charizard, Pokémon (1996) Japanese Delta Playtest graded CGC 9 (lot 77010) is currently leading the sale. The Delta Playtest was the final playtest phase of the Pokémon TCG before the game and cards were revealed to the public. By now, most of the cards had their final artwork already in place, and in this case, Charizard features its iconic artwork illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita.
