CGC Cards Accepting Submissions at Bleecker Trading, D&A Card World and WeTheHobby in New York during Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Release Weekend

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is excited to announce that company representatives will be hosting several shop appearances in New York to celebrate the release of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Prismatic Evolutions special TCG set! Submit your TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, comics, video games and home video collectibles to CGC at three different card shops in New York on January 17-18, 2025.

CGC representatives will be at three different locations accepting submissions, answering questions and providing information on collectibles certification services. Bring your favorite collectibles to the events to take advantage of fast turnaround times and save one way on shipping fees! Also be sure to stop by for exclusive giveaway swag and special store events, including a Prismatic Evolutions bounty!

*In addition to CGC Cards accepting submissions, WeTheHobby will be hosting an Alt Art Bounty for Prismatic Evolutions. If any customer pulls one of the 32 alternate art cards from Prismatic Evolutions and receives a grade of CGC 9 or better after sending it to CGC Cards for grading, WeTheHobby will redeem the graded card for $500. This offer expires in March 2025.

Preparing submissions for the event

CGC is accepting submissions of TCGs, non-sports cards, sports cards, comics, video games and home video collectibles for grading.

To streamline the submission process, please take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for cards, comics, video games or home video.
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles. Failure to do so will result in delays.

5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
