CGC-certified SuperFractor Featuring Barcelona Legends Realizes $30,000 in January Fanatics Collect Auctions
Posted on 2/10/2025
An extremely rare SuperFractor that features the signatures of three Barcelona soccer icons that is certified by CGC Cards™ realized $30,000 in Fanatics Collect's January Premier Auction, which is now the ninth-highest price realized among the CGC-certified sports cards that have sold on the auction platform. The rarity was just one of the thousands of CGC-certified TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in January 2025.
A 2023-24 Topps Chrome UEFA CC Triple Autographs #TA-MNS Messi/Neymar Jr/Suarez - SuperFractor certified CGC Authentic realized $30,000 on January 19. The highly-sought-after one-of-one SuperFractor is the only one of its kind and features all three Barcelona superstars' on-card autographs in blue ink. The trio played together for only three seasons from 2014 to 2017, winning the La Liga title in back-to-back seasons, three Copa del Rey titles and one UEFA Champions League title. Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are arguably one of the greatest attacking trios ever assembled at the same club, making this rarity with each of their signatures special, to say the least.
Another sports highlight from January's Fanatics Collect sales is an additional one-of-one gem, this time of an up-and-coming young NFL star. A 2024 Panini Prizm Rookie Variations #12 Drake Maye - Black Finite certified CGC Authentic realized $21,600 on January 5. Selected by the New England Patriots with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the young quarterback out of North Carolina had a solid rookie campaign, winning over Patriots fans and NFL analysts alike. New England hopes to have found their next franchise QB, which they've been on the hunt for since Tom Brady's departure. If Maye has even a portion of Brady's success, this one-of-one Black Finite rarity is likely to continue to appreciate in value as his career progresses.
Meanwhile, hundreds of CGC-certified TCGs and non-sports cards were sold through Fanatics Collect in January as well, with the top highlight being a Chansey, Pokémon (2021) Japanese Creatures Deck: Corporate History 25th Anniversary – 1995 graded CGC 9.5 that realized $28,200 on January 28. This Chansey is included in the Creatures Deck: Corporate History set that was exclusively given to Creatures Inc. staff, Pokémon TCG illustrators and other associates in celebration of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. Sketched by Kouichi Ooyama, this Chansey would eventually be refined and released in Base Set in 1996.
A Charizard, Pokémon (2021) Japanese Creatures Deck: Corporate History 25th Anniversary – 1996 graded CGC Gem Mint 10 realized $14,400 on January 26. Charizard is one of the most popular Pokémon in the entire TCG, and it debuted in 1996 in Japan’s Base Set – 1st Edition. The front of the card features Mitsuhiro Arita’s iconic illustration of the fire-breathing lizard, while the back of the card contains a content paragraph recalling the history of developing the Base Set of the Pokémon TCG.

Sell Your CGC-certified Cards on Fanatics Collect!
In July 2024, PWCC Marketplace became Fanatics Collect — a new collectibles marketplace that connects dealers and collectors through fixed-price listings, auctions and a myriad of tools and features, all in one app. CGC Cards and Fanatics Collect remain partners and continue to provide a streamlined pathway to grading and selling. The grading and selling program is still accessed via an online submission process through Fanatics Collect's website, and everything is still managed through the Fanatics Collect vault. For more information about Fanatics Collect, click here.
Cards sent to CGC receive priority grading and encapsulation through its third-party grading service for sports cards. Graded cards are returned to Fanatics Collect and immediately added to their Auction Builder Curation Algorithm process, which optimizes cards for sale in upcoming Fanatics Collect Weekly Sunday Auctions.

Prices realized include buyer’s premium.
Note: At the time some of these cards were graded, they were encapsulated with the original CGC Cards label. Starting July 11, 2023, CGC Cards began encapsulating cards with the new CGC Cards label. In addition to the new label, collectors enjoy many other benefits with CGC Cards, such as the ability to submit without purchasing a membership and an industry-standard Gem Mint 10 grading scale.
