CGC-certified Serialized Traveling Chocobo and Luka Doncic SuperFractor Each Realize More than $70,000 Through Fanatics Collect
Posted on 4/8/2026
A serialized Traveling Chocobo graded CGC 8 soared past the competition in Fanatics Collect’s March Premium auction, where it realized $75,000. The Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy rarity was among thousands of CGC-certified TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in March 2026.
The Traveling Chocobo, Magic: The Gathering (2025) Final Fantasy – 0551f Mythic Rare – Gold – Serialized graded CGC 8 realized $75,000 in the Fanatics Collect Premium Auction on March 4. Out of the several varieties of Traveling Chocobo in the MTG x Final Fantasy crossover set, the serialized Gold Traveling Chocobo is the rarest and most desirable of them all. These golden birds are only available in Collector Booster packs, which were printed in limited quantities and are expensive by themselves. There are only eight serialized Gold Traveling Chocobo cards recorded in the CGC Cards Population Report, showing just how rare they are.
Additionally, a Blastoise, Pokémon (1999) “Disco” Holo Test Print graded CGC Gem Mint 10 realized $27,500 on March 30. Wizards of the Coast experimented with several holofoil patterns during the production of early Pokémon TCG sets, including this “Disco” holo pattern. The term “Disco” comes from the beady holo sparkles in the art box’s background, which is similar to the type of light refractions a disco ball makes while it’s turning.
Meanwhile, hundreds of CGC-certified sports cards were sold through Fanatics Collect in March as well, with the top highlight being a one-of-one rarity of Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic. A 2025-26 Topps Finest #281 Luka Doncic - SuperFractor certified CGC Authentic realized $72,000 on March 19. This is the first licensed Topps Finest set in years and the first to include Doncic in a Lakers uniform. The Slovenian-born guard is the NBA's leading scorer this season, averaging 33.5 points per game. As one of the NBA's most collected veterans, this particular one-of-one Doncic SuperFractor garnered almost 70 bids at auction before it realized $72,000, which ties it for the 10th best-selling CGC-certified sports card through Fanatics Collect.
Another sports highlight from March's Fanatics Collect sales was a Dual Lumber Autographs Booklet of arguably the two greatest Japanese-born athletes to ever play in the MLB. A 2025 Topps Museum Collection Dual Auto Jumbo Lumber Bat Book #DAJLB-IOH Ichiro/Shohei Ohtani certified CGC Authentic realized $40,800 on March 19. Featuring game-used pieces of each player's bat that also include the respective player's autograph directly on the relics, the rarity is serial-numbered to only five copies made. Fans of Ohtani and Ichiro couldn't ask for much more out of this special dual card presented in a coveted booklet.
