CGC Featured Card of the Month: Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon
Posted on 6/11/2026
Game: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Set: Limit Over Special Pack / Rarity Collection V (2026)
Card: Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon
What makes it special? Japan’s Limit Over Special Pack (Rarity Collection V in English) introduced a brand-new card type to Yu-Gi-Oh!: the Overframe, or — as it’s known in English (and in other TCGs) — Extended Art cards. This Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon is one of only 18 unique Overframe cards currently in the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. In English, only 10 Overframe cards have been released (as of Rarity Collection V’s release in April 2026).
Did you know? Some Overframe cards are available in multiple rarities. For example, Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon is available as both an Ultra Rare and a Starlight Rare (or Prismatic Secret Rare in Japan). Collectors only have a chance to pull one Starlight Rare out of every 144 packs (or every 24 booster boxes), so they are incredibly rare and go for a premium at auction.
