Another CGC-certified Tom Brady SuperFractor Realizes Six Figures Through Fanatics Collect

For the second month in a row, a one-of-one SuperFractor of arguably the NFL's greatest of all-time realized six figures, becoming the second-highest price realized for a CGC-certified football card sold in a Fanatics Collect auction. The rarity was just one of the thousands of CGC-certified sports cards, TCGs, and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in June 2026.

The 2025 Topps Chrome #401 Tom Brady - Variation SuperFractor certified CGC Authentic realized $276,000 in a Premier Auction on June 19. As of early July, it is the fifth-highest price ever realized by any CGC-certified sports card on the Fanatics Collect platform. With a record-holding seven Super Bowl titles to his name, Brady is widely considered the greatest pro quarterback ever and is also one of the most collected athletes of his generation. Since Panini owned the exclusive NFL rights for cards for a large portion of Brady's career, the 2025 Topps Chrome set is one of the few Topps Chrome sets to include SuperFractors of the famous quarterback. Although an autographed version of Brady in his Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey broke records last month, this particular SuperFractor is a one-of-one variation showcasing TB12 earlier in his career with the New England Patriots.

Another sports highlight from May is a 2025 Topps Definitive Collection World Series Autograph Relics #WSAR-SOH Shohei Ohtani certified CGC Authentic that realized $186,000 on June 19. This particular rarity now holds the eighth-highest price realized on the Fanatics Collect platform for a CGC-certified sports card and the fifth-highest price realized for a CGC-certified Ohtani card. The five high-end sales show just how strong the market is for the two-way superstar from Japan, especially collectibles like this that have historic ties to his two World Series championships. Not only does this one-of-one rarity include Ohtani's autograph, but it also features a prominent piece of a game-used baseball from the 2024 World Series.

Meanwhile, two Wizards of the Coast-era Pokémon cards certified by CGC realized $90,000 each during the June auctions. The first CGC-certified card, a Charizard, Pokémon (2003) Skyridge Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 sold on June 7. Known as the “Crystal” Charizard to Pokémon collectors, this Charizard card is one of the last holofoil cards made and distributed by Wizards of the Coast — the original producer of the Pokémon TCG in North America — before the license was reclaimed by Nintendo of America in 2004.

Additionally, a Lugia, Pokémon (2000) Neo Genesis 1st Edition Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 realized $90,000 on June 14. Although this card was not the first to feature Lugia in a trading card format, the Neo Genesis Lugia was still the first Lugia to appear in the official Pokémon TCG. Because of this, first edition prints of this Lugia card are highly valued by collectors.

Notable Upcoming Fanatics Collect Sales

Fanatics Collect continues to offer CGC-certified cards in its weekly, fixed, and premium auction formats. One of the TCG highlights available in July is a Hama-Chan’s Slowking, Pokémon (1999) Japanese CoroCoro Comic Promo graded CGC Gem Mint 10. This rare promotional card was given away as an insert in the September 1999 issue of CoroCoro Comic magazine in Japan. “Hama-chan” refers to Masatoshi Hamada, a Japanese comedian who voiced Slowking in the Japanese release of Pokémon 2000: The Power of One (and illustrated this card). As of July 2026, there are only 19 examples of Hama-Chan’s Slowking graded CGC Gem Mint 10 in the CGC Cards Population Report, with only 19 graded higher.
