Elite Collectibles Offers Dozens of CSG-certified Baseball Cards

Elite Collectibles is offering dozens of baseball cards graded by Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®), including All-Stars like Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout as well as promising young prospects like Wander Franco and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The cards are being offered in a series of sales, ending March 24, March 31 and April 7, 2022.

For ambitious baseball card collectors, the Elite Collectibles sales are a great opportunity to add CSG-certified cards to their collection. Ohtani cards dominate the lineup of auction offerings. Following his 2021 AL MVP win, Ohtani cards are seeing a bump in popularity as his success as a pitcher and a batter is reminiscent of Babe Ruth a century ago.

The Elite Collectibles offerings include a 2018 Topps Chrome #150 Shohei Ohtani graded CSG 9 with sub-grades of 9.5 for Centering, 9 for Corners, 9 for Edges and 9 for Surface (March 24 sale, lot 1). This Ohtani rookie card is a great way to start or add to a player set in the CSG Registry.

Also for sale is a 2019 Donruss Optic Peak Performers #PP-12 Mike Trout Holo, which is graded CSG 9 (April 7 sale, Lot 6r). The card features an image of Trout at bat superimposed against a mountain range. Trout’s popularity has continued to expand like that of his Angels teammate, Ohtani.
