Collectors have been waiting on pins and Needle Arms for the CGC Trading Cards Pop Report, and now CGC Trading Cards is thrilled to deliver.

What collectors have been asking for is here at last! The CGC Trading Cards Population Report is now live at CGCcards.com and ready to deliver the data you need to determine the relative rarity of cards graded by CGC Trading Cards.

Designed to be user friendly and easy to navigate on a phone, tablet or computer, the CGC Trading Cards Pop Report is a powerful tool that provides an up-to-date catalog of the trading cards that have been graded by CGC Trading Cards, organized by game, era and set. Collectors can use the search functionality to look up a specific card, or browse the CGC Trading Cards Population Report’s different categories.

An expanding resource

At launch, the CGC Trading Cards Population Report includes all of the Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering (MTG) cards that CGC Trading Cards has graded. New games will continually be added as more cards are certified. For Pokémon and MTG cards, collectors will find counts of overall grades and sub-grades (when applicable) for every card certified, from the Base and Alpha Sets to the latest series for each game, as well as promo cards, starter decks, test prints and oddities.

“As a trading card grader and passionate collector and player, I understand why the TCG community has been so eager for the CGC Trading Cards Pop Report,” says Matt Quinn, CGC Trading Cards Senior Grading Finalizer. “In real-time, collectors can determine the relative rarity of their CGC Trading Cards-certified cards, or the cards that they are thinking about adding to their collections.”

Dynamic search, sub-grades and much more

By working closely with the CGC Trading Cards grading team, the CGC Trading Cards Population Report has been developed with the TCG enthusiast in mind. On the main page, collectors can look for a specific card by card name, set name, language and more by typing in the search field, which uses predictive search functionality. Click on the desired search result, and go right to the population report data for that specific card.

Users can also browse the CGC Trading Cards Pop Report by clicking on a game and then an era (e.g., Pokémon > Sun & Moon) or category (e.g., Magic > Test Prints / Oddities). The set listing shows the number of cards graded for each set. Click on a set, and the list of card names shows the number of cards that have been certified for the specific card in total and in each grade. Each grade is clickable to reveal a breakdown of the number of cards certified by CGC Trading Cards with every combination of sub-grades.

The dynamic search functionality within each set enables users to quickly find a specific card within that set. Type in a card name, and the list automatically filters down to any cards featuring that name within the set along with the number of cards that have been certified by CGC Trading Cards in total and in each grade.

Research anytime, anywhere

Collectors can search the CGC Trading Cards Population Report anytime, anywhere. Built with the latest technology to seamlessly resize on all devices, the CGC Trading Cards Population Report can be accessed on a phone, tablet or desktop computer. Collectors can even click the “shop now” button for any card and be taken directly to current eBay listings for that card certified by CGC Trading Cards.

“We are thrilled to bring trading card collectors the resource that they have been waiting for,” comments Steven R. Eichenbaum, CEO of the Certified Collectibles Group, which includes CGC Trading Cards. “The CGC Trading Cards Population Report is best in class and designed specifically for the TCG collecting community, reflecting our commitment to invest in the hobby as well as our determination to lead in this space.”
