CGC Trading Cards Competitive Team Places in the Top 10!

A huge congratulations to Team CGC Trading Cards! The team made it to day two of the North America Pokémon Regional Championships at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this past weekend, June 17-19. Out of 680 players, Azul Garcia Griego made it to an astounding 10^th place!

Team CGC Trading Cards was assembled by Danny Oesterreich, and is comprised of seasoned players Daniel Altavilla, Azul Garcia Griego and Caleb Gedemer. The team first competed at the Secaucus Pokémon Regional Championships, at the Meadowland Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey, on May 20-22.

The Pokémon Regional Championships are the largest events (after the International Championships), in terms of both attendance and Championship Point payouts, with prizes, scholarships and gift cards up to $50,000. Prizes are awarded to the top players in each age division, based on attendance.

Please join us in wishing the team the best of luck as they go on to compete in the upcoming North America International Championships, June 24-26, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
