A Love Letter to Air Jordans: Episode #1 of the CSG Podcast, Collect This!

On the premiere of CSG’s podcast Collect This!, host Alan Goldsher is joined by multimedia entertainer and noted sports collector DJ Skee, author Dylan Dittrich (Sneakonomic Growth) and sneaker expert Tone Stakes (Fanatics, Game Used Tone) for a discussion about the history and cultural impact of the Air Jordan sneaker line.

The discussion stemmed from The Dynasty Collection, six sneakers that Michael Jordan wore during each of the Chicago Bulls championship runs. The Collection was on display at CSG’s booth at July’s National Sports Collectors Convention.

“As a lifelong Bulls fan, the Dynasty Collection is my dream batch of sneakers,” Goldsher says. “When those six sneakers came into the CSG fold, there was no question that they’d be featured on the pod. Skee, Dylan, and Tone all did an amazing job giving context to these shoes that, if I had a few zillion dollars of disposable income, might well be in my office at this this very moment.”
