CSG Scouting Report: Week Two Is in the Books
Posted on 9/21/2022
Wow! It’s one of the only words that can describe week two of the 2022 NFL season. In this week’s CSG Scouting Report, we look at the wild comebacks, close games and those who led the charge.
Week Two Winners
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tagovailoa put on a mesmerizing show after it appeared the Dolphins were doomed to fall to Baltimore. Tua and the Dolphins had other plans as he threw four fourth quarter touchdowns, with the fourth being the game winner to receiver Jaylen Waddle, cementing Miami’s epic comeback.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
The only worry about Murray and video games should be if this man plays like one on the field. The Raiders were up 23-7, before Murray led the Cardinals to 16 unanswered points using his elite video game-like speed against the Raiders’ defense.
Joe Flacco, New York Jets
One of the biggest surprises of the weekend was the New York Jets signal caller and former Super Bowl champ, Joe Flacco, leading the Jets to a narrow victory by tossing up 307 yards and four touchdowns.
Rookie Watch
Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions
After going sack-less in week one, Hutchinson reminded the world why he was the number-two overall pick in this year’s draft. Hutchinson recorded three sacks on Sunday helping pave the way for a Detroit win against the Commanders.
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Drake London found himself catching his first career touchdown on Sunday, as well as hauling in eight catches for 86 yards. We could be watching a new premiere receiver in Atlanta emerge as the season goes on and London gets more comfortable in the offense.
