Whatnot Announces Six Exclusive Livestream Events Powered by CGC Trading Cards

CGC Trading Cards® is excited to announce a series of exclusive events with revolutionary online auction platform Whatnot. CGC Trading Cards and Whatnot will be hosting several box opening livestreams featuring your favorite trading card games, including Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, MetaZoo and more.

Across six three-hour livestreams, popular hosts on Whatnot Cards platform will break open rare sets of cards and sell the contents to viewers in real time. One of CGC Trading Cards’ Senior Finalizers will be present during each event to offer complimentary authentication and grading services. Each event will have free grading for all cards opened on stream, and encapsulated cards will feature the exclusive Whatnot label.

The first Whatnot livestream powered by CGC Trading Cards has already concluded and was a massive success. On September 2, popular host @goingtwice opened a sealed Pokémon 1^st Edition Neo Genesis booster box. Followers who were watching the stream at the time competed for sealed packs, which were opened on stream after being claimed by the winner. Collectors who purchased packs during the livestream had the option to receive complimentary grading from one of CGC Trading Cards’ Senior Finalizers on all the cards they pulled.
