The Collect This! 2022-23 NBA Preview

On a latest episode of the CSG podcast “Collect This!”, host Alan Goldsher is joined by former NBA executive and current Goldin Head of Content and Business Development Sam Farber for a breakdown of how the new basketball season might look on the court and in the hobby.

“There are few people in the collecting industry better equipped to talk about, say, Jayson Tatum’s potential performance both with the Celtics and in the card marketplace. And Sam is a Boston sports nut, so he could go on for hours.”

As it turned out, this episode of Collect This! almost did go on for hours. “Sam and I had too many hot takes to keep the show anywhere near our typical 45-ish-minute run-time. After chopping it up about his Celts and my Chicago Bulls, we went down many, many rabbit holes, both court-wise and card-wise."

Goldsher did offer one spolier alert: "We both have a hunch that the Detroit Pistons — yes, the Detroit Pistons — will sneak into the postseason, and Cade Cunningham will become a darling amongst card collectors.”
