CSG Scouting Report: Late-game Heroes and a Touchdown Titan
Posted on 10/13/2022
One of the most loved aspects of the NFL is how unpredictable it can be. Week 4 was no exception, with comebacks, near-comebacks and a shutout. This CSG Scouting Report highlights two late-game heroes and one wide receiver who bullied his was to nearly 200 yards.
Standouts from the week
Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
Tucker proved once again why he is the most accurate kicker in NFL history. Tucker nailed the game-winning field goal from 43 yards out, giving the Ravens a two-point victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Gabriel Davis, Buffalo Bills
When a wide receiver scores a 98-yard touchdown he is bound to make the CSG Scouting Report. Gabe Davis hauled in the pass from Josh Allen. After that, he still wasn’t done and finished with 171 yards and two touchdowns in the absolute drubbing of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
Is he a quarterback? Running back? Receiver? Whatever his position, Hill is a football player who will do whatever it takes to contribute to the win. He had four total touchdowns on Sunday, including the go-ahead touchdown run, leading the Saints to a 39-32 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Rookie Watch
Sauce Gardner, New York Jets
Sauce is giving Jets fans more things to be excited about than just his nickname. He grabbed his first career interception against the Miami Dolphins, as the Jets went on to beat the Dolphins 40-17.
Velus Jones Jr., Chicago Bears
Jones Jr. found his way into the end zone for his first NFL touchdown on Sunday, sparking a valiant effort by the Bears, but their near-comeback ultimately fell short against the Minnesota Vikings.
