CSG Scouting Report: Former Super Bowl Studs Return to Form
Posted on 10/20/2022
Another round of NFL games saw players trying to get back to Super Bowl form. This week’s CSG Scouting Report looks at how well three former Super Bowl studs performed (plus two hot rookies).
Super Bowl Studs
Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts
This was the type of game the Colts have been hoping for when they acquired longtime Falcon Matt Ryan in the offseason. Ryan dominated the passing game en route to victory all while racking up 389 yards and three touchdowns.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Burrow is back! After weeks of inconsistent play and a shaky offensive line, Joe Burrow bounced back and showed everyone why he was able to take his team to the Super Bowl last year. Burrow finished with four touchdowns in the win over the New Orleans Saints.
Von Miller, Buffalo Bills
On Sunday, Von Miller showed that he could be the missing piece in order for Buffalo to get to the big game. Facing one of the best QBs in the league, Von Miller disrupted plays and had two sacks against the Kansas City Chiefs to help the Bills seal the win.
Rookie Watch
Breece Hall, New York Jets
Breece Hall ripped off 116 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers as Hall and the rest of his squad caused havoc for Green Bay.
Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks
Walker III was three yards shy pf breaking 100 but put the finishing touches on the win with an 11-yard touchdown run to put his team up by two scores.
