CSG-graded Soccer Cards Score with Collectors

The World Cup is happening soon, and soccer cards certified by Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) have been scoring with fans recently.

A 2018 Donruss Optic #179 Phil Foden graded CSG 9  sold on eBay for $5,850 on October 25, 2022. Foden helped England win the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and he won the Golden Ball award for his outstanding level of play. He has played with Manchester City since 2017 and was named Premier League Young Player of the Season for 2021. Foden may be a starter for England when the 2022 World Cup begins in Qatar in mid-November.

A 2019-20 Finest UEFA CL #PFF-EHA Erling Braut Haaland graded CSG Gem Mint 10 sold on eBay for $4,182 on October 17, 2022. Representing his native Norway, Erling Haaland won the Golden Boot award for scoring the most goals at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He was the Player of the Season for 2020-21 for the Bundesliga in Germany, and now plays alongside Foden for Manchester City. He scored five goals in the 2022 World Cup qualifying stage, but Norway failed to advance.

These cards continue a recent pattern of high-dollar soccer sales. A rare 2018 Panini Prizm World Cup #80 Kylian Mbappé Camo rookie card graded CSG Gem Mint 10 sold for $15,100 in an eBay auction on September 4, 2022.
