CSG Scouting Report: Freakish Talent on Display
Posted on 11/3/2022
Nightmares came true on Sunday for a few NFL teams, all because they faced players with freakish talent. This week, CSG looks at those who made the Sunday before Halloween a scary one for their opponents.
The Most Punishing Plays
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
Trade rumors aside, Kamara was a dual threat versus the Las Vegas Raiders when he ran for 62 yards and a touchdown. However, he was even more impressive catching the ball, racking up 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys made Sunday difficult for the Chicago Bears. No play put the stamp on that more than the back-breaking fumble return for Parsons.
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
It took Christian McCaffrey almost no time to settle into the 49ers offense as he displayed his talents running, throwing and catching the ball. He notched a touchdown in all three categories as the 49ers cruised past the Los Angeles Rams.
Rookie Watch
Malik Willis, Tennessee Titans
Malik Willis saw his first NFL start this past Sunday. While not the most impressive debut, if history has taught us anything, it is to not judge a player on one performance, especially the first.
James Cook, Buffalo Bills
Cook continues to show he is a viable threat for the Bills. He amassed 35 rushing yards and caught a 41-yard strike from Josh Allen.
