What makes it special? France has advanced past the Group Stage to the field of 16 in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with Mbappé scoring in France's wins over Australia and Denmark. France won the previous FIFA World Cup championship, which was held in 2018. At that tournament, Kylian Mbappé become the youngest French player to score a goal in any World Cup. Mbappé had the winning goals against Peru and Argentina.
