CSG Scouting Report: Playing Through the Highs and Lows
Posted on 11/22/2022
The NFL season is a long, tough road, but thankfully it’s full of players who can perform despite the highs and lows. In this CSG Scouting Report, we look at three players who have not had the easiest of seasons so far, but have persevered through Week 11.
Always too soon to quit
Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions pulled off an upset win against the New York Giants, largely in part to Jamaal Williams and his three rushing touchdowns.
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have had their ups and downs this season, but the Raiders were on the upside against the Denver Broncos. Credit goes to Derek Carr with 307 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals signal caller continues to show why this team can be a threat come playoff time. Joe Burrow outlasted the Pittsburgh Steelers by tossing four touchdowns and 355 passing yards.
Rookie Watch
Matt Corral, Carolina Panthers
Even though the rookie QB is out with an injury, it is hard not to speculate what he can do once healthy. The one bright spot despite how abysmal the Carolina Panthers have been this season is that their quarterback of the future is already on the roster.
Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions
Hutchinson continues to make his case for Rookie of the Year week after week. This past Sunday he snagged his second interception of the year against the New York Giants.
