CSG’s Sports Card Podcast Collect This! Expands Its Collecting Orbit with a Wide-ranging Roundtable Discussion

Posted on 12/29/2022

Experts from the Certified Collectibles Group grading services for sports cards, comics, trading cards and paper money break down what’s happening in their respective ends of the collecting world.

Four of the Certified Collectibles Group's lead graders joined CSG’s flagship sports card podcast to discuss their respective collecting expertise:

  • Andy Broome: CSG Vice President (sports cards)
  • Matt Nelson: CGC President (comics)
  • Matt Quinn: CGC Trading Cards Vice President (trading cards)
  • Chad Hawk: PMG Grading Finalizer (paper money)

“On a certain level, collecting is collecting, regardless of what it is you’re collecting,” said Collect This! host Alan Goldsher. “The commonality in our community is such that whether you’re talking about a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card or a $1,000 bill from 1923, you’re doing so utilizing the same language.”

Goldsher continued, “Andy, Matt N., Matt Q. and Chad are so passionate and knowledgeable about their respective worlds that even though I’m far from an expert in Pokémon, Superman or 100-year-old paper money, I can still ask them meaningful questions, and we gain valuable insight all around.”

New episodes of CSG’s sports card and collectibles podcast Collect This! — which sits in the top 25% of all podcasts — premiere every Thursday, and can be heard on Apple, Spotify and all major podcast platforms. For more information, write [email protected].
