CSG Scouting Report: Making an Impact Off the Field
Posted on 1/4/2023
We at CSG would like to share our thoughts and prayers for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin and his family. There are things bigger than football and cards, and everyone at CSG is pulling for him.
This week, the game of football feels less important, and in many ways, it is. That’s why the CSG Scouting Report will look at those players who make a great impact off the field as well.
J.J. Watt, Arizona Cardinals
J.J. Watt won the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2017 for his efforts in aiding the community when Hurricane Harvey struck. Watt is retiring this season, and we honor an incredible athlete and person.
Blaine Gabbert, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Blaine Gabbert assisted in a helicopter crash rescue by driving jet skis out to help get people to safety, it was reported this week.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
Tyler Lockett has funded numerous scholarships and has a large impact not only in Seattle but in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
