Wow! CGC Trading Cards Now Grading All Other Comic Book Cards

CGC Trading Cards® is excited to announce the expansion of its expert authentication, grading and encapsulation services to include all official comic book cards!

CGC Trading Cards is set to grade all standard-sized official comic book cards, such as cards featuring illustrations from Image Comics, Boom! Studios and Dark Horse Comics. Please be aware that some comic book trading cards have varying widths and lengths due to inconsistent factory cutting, so some cards cannot be encapsulated. CGC Trading Cards will only be grading standard-sized comic book cards. Additionally, CGC Signature Series services are not currently available for any cards certified by CGC Trading Cards.

In addition to Marvel and DC, several other comic book publishing companies took to the trading card market to further promote their series and characters. Publishers such as Image Comics partnered with Topps to release trading card sets based on WildC.A.T.s, Spawn, Cyber Force, Youngblood and more. These sets, along with additional ones released by other comic book publishers, contributed to the trading card boom of the 1990s.
