'Let Me Give You My Card.' MetaZoo Business Cards Graded by CGC Trading Cards

CGC Trading Cards® recently certified two interesting MetaZoo cards. From afar, they look like common MetaZoo cards. However, a closer inspection reveals that these cards are special — they’re the business cards of Michael Waddell, MetaZoo’s Chief Executive Officer, and Andy Mourat, MetaZoo’s Chief Product Officer!

The Michael Waddell, MetaZoo (2022) Chief Executive Officer Business Card Promo received a grade of CGC 9.5 with sub-grades of 9.5 for Centering and Surface, and 10 for Corners and Edges. Meanwhile, the Andy Mourat, MetaZoo (2022) Chief Product Officer Business Card Promo was graded CGC 9.5 with sub-grades of 9.5 for Centering, 9 for Surface and 10 for Corners and Edges. Both cards feature special artwork of the two company leaders and a MetaZoo partner illustrated by Sebastian Botello.

Each card’s text box offers contact information for Waddell or Mourat, including an email address and phone number for Waddell and an email address for Mourat. (To protect their privacy, CGC Trading Cards has hidden this information with black boxes in the images within this article.)

Launched in 2021, the MetaZoo TCG has become a staple across the US. Its unique gameplay gives players advantages based on their immediate, real-world surroundings, such as forest, bodies of water or whatever they might have in their pocket, while playing the game. Creatures in the TCG, called Cryptids, are based on mythical creatures that have not been proven to exist, such as Bigfoot and Mothman.
