CGC Trading Cards Grades 14 Pokémon 25th Anniversary Cards a CGC 9 or Higher

Submitters will often send a group of cards to CGC Trading Cards® all at once to be certified. These groups may consist of cards entirely from a certain set, or even cards in a certain theme. Recently, CGC Trading Cards received one of these submissions — a group of 14 incredible cards, each from the 25th Anniversary Pokémon Creatures Deck: Corporate History set.

Each card in the submission received a grade of CGC 9 or higher, with three of the cards receiving a grade of CGC Pristine 10.

In 2021, The Pokémon Company celebrated its 25th anniversary by distributing collectibles across a wide range of its franchise’s media, including video game distributions, pop-up cafés and, of course, exclusive merchandise. Fans and collectors in the US, Japan and other countries received the 25th Anniversary Celebrations set — a fun set of reprinted cards from various points in the TCG’s history.

Creatures Inc., however, delivered something special to its artists and staff — the 25th Anniversary Creatures Deck: Corporate History. Unlike the widely released Celebrations deck, the Corporate History set was distributed internally at Creatures Inc. and directly given to Pokémon TCG artists, affiliates and some Creatures Inc. staff. Because of this, the set is incredibly hard to obtain on the secondary market.

Each card included in the Corporate History set bears some significance to Creatures Inc.’s company history and the history of the Pokémon TCG. To learn more about each card and its historical significance, click here.
