CGC Trading Cards Announces an In-House Private Signing with Comic Book Artist Rob Liefeld

CGC Trading Cards™ is thrilled to announce an exclusive In-House Private Signing with legendary comic book creator, writer and artist Rob Liefeld! Best known as the creator of Marvel’s top mutant superstars Deadpool, Cable, Domino, Stryfe, Shatterstar and Major X, Liefeld will be signing comic books and trading cards featuring his art. Card submissions are now available, and fans can select the option on the CGC Trading Cards online submission form.

For this signing, submitters can send in official trading cards featuring Liefeld's art, which CGC Trading Cards will encapsulate with our distinctive yellow CGC Signature Series Label. (For instructions to submit comic books for this signing, click here.)

Liefeld’s 37-year career spans work on many of the industry’s top-tier comic franchises from both DC and Marvel, including the X-Men, Captain America, The Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Force, Wolverine, Teen Titans and Hawkman. He single-handedly reinvigorated the New Mutants franchise, transforming it into X-Force, which launched with sales of 5 million copies. X-Force remains the #2 best-selling comic book of all time.

Liefeld started Image Comics with his fellow peers, launching new franchises such as Prophet, Avengelyne, Youngblood, Brigade and Bloodstrike. The sequel to his best-selling Deadpool: Bad Blood, a 5-part limited series, Deadpool: Badder Blood, launches Summer of 2023.

Instructions for submitting Marvel cards

CGC Trading Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Sunday, July 23, 2023.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Trading Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After Rob Liefeld signs the submitted cards, CGC Trading Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

Please note: Sub-grades are not available for cards signed by Rob Liefeld.

The CGC Trading Cards In-House Private Signing fee for Rob Liefeld is $130 per item and includes:

• Rob Liefeld's signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Trading Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Trading Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Trading Cards Online Form.
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Select "Grading" under Select Primary Service.
• Choose "Rob Liefeld Signing" under Select Tier.

• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. If you need a CGC Trading Cards shipping kit, they can be purchased HERE.
• IMPORTANT: Please write RL on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Trading Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Trading Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Trading Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Trading Cards no later than Sunday July 23, 2023, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Sunday, July 23, 2023.

CGC Trading Cards is not offering the CGC Signature Series label for other signers at this time.
