SS Son Goku & Frieza, Miraculous Conclusion Silver Promo Card Graded by CGC Trading Cards

CGC Trading Cards® recently graded a holy grail of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game — a SS Goku & Frieza, Miraculous Conclusion Dragon Ball Super (2022) Cross Spirits – BT14-152 Secret Rare made of pure silver. It received a grade of CGC 9.5 and is the second example to be certified by CGC Trading Cards.

As part of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game’s 5th Anniversary celebration, Bandai announced an exclusive lottery featuring a fan-favorite card from the Cross Spirits expansion. The company revealed that this card was a reprint of the SS Son Goku & Frieza, Miraculous Conclusion secret rare card from the Cross Spirits expansion, but with a twist — this card was etched into slabs of pure silver and was extremely limited in quantity. Only 555 copies of the card would be available for purchase (one copy per person), and those who were interested would need to enter a lottery to even have a chance at obtaining it.

Thousands of collectors entered the lottery, and only 555 were selected for the opportunity to purchase the card for a whopping $1,100. Those who did fork over the money were presented with this beautiful reprint, complete with an acrylic case for the card’s safekeeping.

To say that the silver SS Son Goku & Frieza, Miraculous Conclusion promo card is extremely valuable to collectors is an understatement. A copy of the card, when paired with its acrylic case, can sell online for over $1,500, and graded examples often realize higher prices. If this CGC 9.5 example ever hits the auction block, it could reach new heights for Dragon Ball Super prices realized.
