Posted on 9/22/2023
Attention, Pokémon TCG collectors — if you’re looking to build a master set of the newest Pokémon TCG release, Pokémon 151, then this challenge is for you!
CGC Cards™ is putting a bounty on Pokémon 151 — the newest limited set from the Pokémon TCG — coming out on September 22, 2023. To compete, collect all 165 cards in the set (excluding secret rares) and get them graded by CGC Cards. As you collect and grade, enter your cards in the CGC Cards Registry for the opportunity to win some amazing prizes, including booster boxes, grading credits, a free CGC Cards Elite Membership and more!
The Rules
The rules are simple: The first person to collect all 165 cards in the Pokémon 151 set (excluding secret rares), with grades of CGC Gem Mint 10 or CGC Pristine 10, and record them in the CGC Cards Registry wins! There will be prizes for first-, second- and third-place winners.
Collectors choosing to participate in the CGC Cards Registry Bounty race must create a free or paid CGC account. Not a member? Join now!
As you collect cards within the Pokémon 151 set, send them to CGC Cards for grading to see which ones earn a CGC Cards Gem Mint 10 or Pristine 10 grade. To learn more about the CGC Cards Grading Scale, click here.
Please note: Reverse holofoil cards do not qualify for the competition set. Only base commons and non-reverse holofoil cards from the Pokémon 151 set are eligible.
After receiving your graded cards, enter them into the CGC Cards Registry for TCGs & Non-Sports cards by following these steps:
- Add your cards to the CGC Cards Registry by clicking the red + symbol in the top-right corner of the CGC Cards website, or by clicking the “+ Add Card” button on the CGC Cards Registry page. Type in your card’s CGC certification number when prompted and select “Add” when finished.
- Add images of your cards using the free images provided by CGC Cards or by uploading your own. (This step is optional — you do not have to upload images of your cards.)
