CGC Cards and CGC Comics Accepting Submissions at the Essex Card Show

Representatives from the London office of CGC Cards™ and CGC Comics™ will be in attendance and accepting submissions of TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards and comic books at the Essex Card Show, at The Brentwood Centre, in Brentwood, Essex, England, on November 11, 2023.

About the Essex Card Show

The annual Essex Card Show returns to a new larger location for the 2023 event, which will once again cater to all trading card collectors across the hobby. The premier TCG and sports card convention of Essex County gives collectors access to numerous vendors offering Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and other TCGs, sports cards, comic books and other collectibles and accessories.

Essex Card Show ticket holders will have access to the largest space ever used for the annual convention. The new location at The Brentwood Centre will include more than 180 vendor tables, where visitors will be able to buy, trade and learn more about the hobby, all in a fun atmosphere that includes a large trading area and a licensed bar and cafe, so there is something for everyone! This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome. Single admission tickets range from £5 to £15, with a four-ticket Family option (two adults and two children) for £25. The CGC UK team will also be at the Essex Card Show, where representatives will accept submissions, answer questions and provide information to interested collectors. Keep reading for further instructions on how to get your submission ready.

Preparing Submissions for the Show

To streamline submissions at the show, please take the following steps before arriving:

1. Become a CGC member. To join CGC Comics, click here. To join CGC Cards, click here.
2. Sign into your account and go to the online submission form for comics and/or cards. When filling out the form, select the show you are submitting at from the dropdown menu.
3. Complete the submission form(s) and print the packing slips.
   
   Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.
   
   
4. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slips) with a representative.
