CGC Companies Accepting Submissions at the Chicago Sports Spectacular

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is excited to be accepting submissions of sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, video games and home video collectibles at the Chicago Sports Spectacular, being held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, on November 17-19, 2023.

The Chicago Sports Spectacular is one of the premier sports and non-sports memorabilia events in the Chicago area. Held in March and November every year, the show caters to both sports and pop-culture fans from across the collectibles community. With a focus on all things sports, the event gives visitors a chance to browse, sell and trade their favorite sports cards, memorabilia and other collectibles, along with photo opportunities and autograph sessions with some of the most popular sports stars, Hollywood stars and TV personalities in the entertainment industry. They include Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Jerry West, Don Mattingly, Brett Hull and many more!

The November convention will feature over 400 vendor tables, with some of the most popular sports vendors across the nation in attendance. Among them will be CGC, and representatives will be accepting submissions, answering questions and providing information on grading services for sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, video games and home video collectibles. Bring your favorite collectibles to the convention to save one way on shipping fees! Further instructions on the submission process are below.

Preparing submissions for the show

To spend more time enjoying the show, submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service, which enables you to skip the line and quickly hand off your prepared submission to a CGC representative.

To streamline submissions at the show, please take the following steps before arriving:

1. Become a CGC member here.
2. Go to the online submission form for cards, comics, video games or home video.
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
