CGC Gem Mint 10 and Pristine 10 Cards Offered by Heritage Auctions

Dozens of TCGs and non-sports cards certified by CGC Cards™, all graded CGC Gem Mint 10 and CGC Pristine 10, are being offered in an ongoing Heritage Auctions sale. Online bidding is already underway for the Gem Mint Trading Card Games Showcase Auction, which is set to end on November 30, 2023.

Featured in the sale is a Tropical Island, Magic: The Gathering (1994) Revised Edition graded CGC Pristine 10 (lot 78031). MTG’s Revised Edition set was a reprint of the game’s core set that was released in 1993. The set features 306 cards, including ten dual lands like Tropical Island. Tropical Island produces two colors of mana, allowing the player to choose either one forest or one island mana each turn. CGC Cards has graded a total of 238 Tropical Island cards from the Revised Edition set, according to the CGC Cards Population Report. However, only three of these have been graded CGC Pristine 10.

Also offered in the auction is a Sabrina’s Gengar, Pokémon (2000) Gym Heroes 1st Edition Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 (lot 78081). Gym Heroes was the first English Pokémon TCG set to feature owner-specific Pokémon cards, with fan favorites including Blaine’s Moltres, Rocket’s Scyther and Erika’s Dragonair. Sabrina’s Gengar is one of the most expensive cards in the set, both because of its rarity and because the Ghost-type Pokémon is well loved within the Pokémon TCG collecting community. CGC Cards has graded a total of 226 examples of 1st Edition Sabrina’s Gengar, with only three graded CGC Pristine 10, according to the CGC Cards Population Report.
