CGC Cards Announces Private Signing with Artist Greg Hildebrandt

CGC Cards™ is thrilled to announce that CGC Signature Series will be hosting an exclusive Private Signing event with the incredible Greg Hildebrandt! One half of the legendary “The Brothers Hildebrandt,” Greg is a legend in the industry and known to many. He will be signing both comic books and trading cards featuring his art. Card submissions are now available, and fans can select the option on the CGC Cards online submission form.

For this signing, submitters can send in official trading cards featuring Hildebrandt's art, which CGC Cards will encapsulate with our distinctive yellow CGC Signature Series Label. (For instructions to submit comic books for this signing, click here.)

Greg Hildebrandt and his brother Tim famously created the iconic poster artwork for the film Star Wars: A New Hope as well as calendars for the epic fantasy series, Lord of the Rings. The Hildebrandts are also well known for their artwork on popular trading card series like Magic the Gathering, Marvel Masterpieces and the Harry Potter Trading Card Game. During his career, Greg has created many stunning comic covers for publishers like Marvel, DC, IDW Publishing and Dynamite. Some of the most well-known series featuring his captivating artwork include Conan the Savage, Marvel Super Special, Marvel Swimsuit Special, Old Man Logan, The Spectre, Star Trek: Year Five, Star Wars: Captain Phasma, Superman: The Last God of Krypton, Warlord of Mars Attacks and Vampirella.

Instructions for submitting cards

CGC Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

If the Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After Hildebrandt signs the submitted cards, CGC Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Cards Private Signing fee for Greg Hildebrandt is $75 per item and includes:

• Greg Hildebrandt's signature
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Select "Grading" under Select Primary Service.
• Choose "Greg Hildebrandt Signing" under Select Tier.
• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. If you need a CGC Cards shipping kit, they can be purchased HERE.
• IMPORTANT: Please write GH on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Cards no later than Tuesday, April 16, 2024, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

*No Multi-Sigs included with other signings.

**If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade.

****Marker color requests are welcome, but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement is at the final discretion of the signer. 

CGC Cards is not offering the CGC Signature Series label for other signers at this time.
