CGC Cards Announces Private Signing with Acclaimed Comic Book Artist J. Scott Campbell

CGC Cards™ is excited to announce this Private Signing with the talented comic book artist J. Scott Campbell! Without a doubt, J. Scott is one of the industry’s finest and most sought-after cover artists with a versatile and unique style that has brought to life many of Marvel and DC’s most iconic characters. J. Scott will be signing both comic books and trading cards featuring his art. Card submissions will be available soon. For updates on when we will be accepting card submissions, keep an eye on our social media channels.

For this signing, submitters can send in official trading cards featuring J. Scott's art, which CGC Cards will encapsulate with our distinctive yellow CGC Signature Series Label. (For instructions on how to submit comic books for this signing, click here.)

In addition to his iconic work for Marvel and DC, he co-founded the Cliffhanger imprint as part of WildStorm Productions and has worked side-by-side with Jim Lee (Gen13), Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead and Oblivion Song), Todd McFarlane (Spawn and Spawn’s Universe), and other acclaimed creators. J. Scott has produced some of the most valuable and sought-after comic variants in the industry such as The Amazing Spiderman #601 (2009), Wolverine #1 Deadpool variant (2010), Siege #3 Deadpool variant (2010), Uncanny X-Men #510 partial sketch variant (2009), Black Cat #1 JSC Exclusive Cover D “Le Chat Noir” and Cover G “Felicia’s Loft” (2019), and the newly released fan-favorite Ultimate Spider-Man #1 (2024).

IMPORTANT: J. Scott will not be signing homage or parody covers of his work by other artists. Such submissions will be returned ungraded with a refund of the signing and grading fees.

CGC Cards must receive all submissions for this event by Sunday, October 20, 2024.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC Cards will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

After J. Scott signs the submitted cards, CGC Cards will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Cards In-House Private Signing fee for J. Scott Campbell is $100 per item and includes:

• J. Scott Campbell's signature ($40)
• Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC Cards grading
• Encapsulation with the CGC Signature Series label

To submit cards for the signing:

• Log onto your account or sign up for an account HERE.
• Click Submit in the CGC Cards website navigation and select Submission Form.
• Click on the link to the CGC Cards Online Form.
• Select "Mail-In or Show Drop-Off" under Select Submission Method.
• Select "Grading" under Select Primary Service.
• Choose "J. Scott Campbell Signing" under Select Tier.
• Enter the information requested for your card.
• Select Add to Cart, and then repeat if there are additional cards in your submission. If there are no additional cards in your submission, click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.
• Carefully package cards in a box for shipment. If you need a CGC Cards shipping kit, they can be purchased HERE.
• IMPORTANT: Please write JSC on all sides of the outside of the box. You must initial outside of the box or we will not be able to honor the submission for this signing.
• Cards will be received into the CGC Cards system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC Cards until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles' arrival at CGC.)
• Once cards are signed they will start an expedited CGC Cards grading process.

PLEASE NOTE:

All submissions must be received by CGC Cards no later than Sunday, October 20, 2024, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Membership credits cannot be applied to CGC Private Signings.

*No Multi-Sigs included with other signings.

**If you submit a CGC-graded collectible that needs to be removed from its original holder by CGC, the collectible will need to go through the certification and encapsulation process again, and there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade.

****Marker color requests are welcome, but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement is at the final discretion of the signer. 

CGC Cards is not offering the CGC Signature Series label for other signers at this time.
