CGC Cards Partnering with Orange Cap Games for Exclusive Signing with Founder and Lead Artist at Conrad Centennial Singapore

CGC Cards is excited to announce that we will be at Conrad Centennial Singapore for the premiere of the Vibes TCG, featuring Pudgy Penguins, on September 16, 2024. At the event, Orange Cap Games founder and CEO Spencer Gordon-Sand and artist Clare Altman will be signing cards in the presence of a CGC Authorized Witness, making cards signed and submitted for grading at the event eligible for the coveted CGC Signature Series label.

With the first set — Enter the Huddle — slated for release later in 2024, the Vibes TCG is a fun, easy-to-learn TCG featuring the Pudgy Penguins, a popular franchise with cute, plump penguins in fun outfits and relatable situations. The TCG encourages players to build an awesome huddle of penguins with the best vibes possible. Each penguin in the huddle can perform actions to further strengthen the player’s deck, and relic cards change the tide of gameplay.

Be Among the First to "Enter the Huddle"

Come try your hand at playing the TCG with a 1st Edition Vibes Starter Deck — Orange Cap Games will have staff present to help participants learn how to play the game and obtain the very first cards being made available. Plus, starter decks will be available for purchase (while supplies last). Booster boxes of expansion packs will also be available for preorder, which will ship Q4 2024. There will also be exclusive promo cards for the TOKEN2049 prelaunch available to all participants.

About Clare Altman

Clare Altman is the Art Director at Orange Cap Games. They have designed 199 out of the 200 cards in the inaugural set of the Vibes TCG, a.k.a. the Pudgy Penguins trading card game. Clare draws artistic inspiration from their rich background as a printmaker and paper artist. In their personal practice and collaborations with other artists, Clare has worked with paper and ink in all of their forms — from pulling handmade sheets to paper casting, etching, letterpress printing and bookbinding. Although the transition to creating TCG art may seem like a radical departure from their more traditional background, Clare views it as both a continuation of their graphic art practice and as an extension of their love for visual storytelling. For them, the offset printing used in the production of TCGs is a natural recontextualization of their technical knowledge in a modern setting. Clare is excited to continue exploring this intersection of classic technique and contemporary media in their role as the Orange Cap Games Art Director.
