Heads up! CGC-certified Pokémon Illustrator Attracting Massive Attention in Alt Auction

A Pokémon Illustrator graded CGC Gem Mint 10 has already reached $240,000 in an Alt sale a week before the auction is set to end. The ultra-rare Pokémon card is just one of the many CGC-certified TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards being offered on Alt’s auction platform.

Bidding for the Pokémon Illustrator, Pokémon (1998) Japanese CoroCoro Comics Illustration Contest Promo graded CGC Gem Mint 10 is set to end on March 13, 2025. Pokémon Illustrator is an extremely rare promo card that was given out to the winners of two Japanese-only art contests hosted through CoroCoro Comics. Thirty-nine examples were given out between 1997 and 1998, and another two examples were later released into circulation by a private seller involved in the creation of the Pokémon TCG. This means that there are a mere total of 41 examples of Pokémon Illustrator in circulation!
