Card: #6 Max Verstappen

What makes it special? Dutch-Belgian racer Max Verstappen was born to be a Formula One (F1) driver; his father Jos was a former F1 driver, and his mother Sophie was a former kart racer as well. Racing ran in the family and Verstappen started breaking racing records early on as a young teenager.

At just 15 years old, he became the first kart racer to ever win three CIK-FIA championships in a single season: two European Championships and a World Championship. Verstappen was the first kart racer to win two European Championships since his father years before. His world title that year also meant he was the youngest racer in history to win the gearbox World Championship. Needless to say, Verstappen seemed destined for greatness at a higher level.

At age 17, he made the leap to F1 in 2015, becoming the youngest driver in F1 history, and he became the youngest driver to ever win a race at just 18 years old when he won the Spanish Grand Prix as part of Team Red Bull. He'd go on to win multiple races in 2017 and 2018 before finishing in third place in both 2019 and 2020 in the World Drivers' Championships. The following season, Verstappen took over the sport and hasn't looked back, winning four consecutive world titles from 2021 to 2024, already solidifying his F1 legacy.

Today, at only 27 years old, Verstappen is not only the first-ever Dutch driver to win an F1 championship, but he already holds several F1 records. He holds the records for most wins in a season (19), most podium finishes in a season (21), most consecutive wins (10) and the most consecutive pole positions (8).

Did you know? After winning his fourth consecutive F1 world championship last season, Max Verstappen joined an elite club. He became only the sixth driver to win at least four titles, and only the fifth to win four titles in a row. If Verstappen is able to win another title this season, he'd tie Michael Schumacher's record for the most consecutive titles in a row (5). As he chases history, Verstappen also continues to inch closer to the record for most F1 championships ever, which is jointly held by Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, who each have seven titles under their belt.
