CGC Now Grading Trading Card Games Full-time in Munich

CGC® is thrilled to announce that it is beginning to certify trading card games (TCGs) on a full-time basis in Munich, Germany! This means shorter turnaround times for TCG submissions made through Certified Collectibles Group – International GmbH (Certified Collectibles Group GmbH), CGC’s Munich-based affiliate.

CGC began offering its industry-leading grading services for cards in Germany in December 2023. Ever since, more and more collectors and dealers in Europe have entrusted their favorite cards to CGC because of our affordable prices, fast turnaround times and the best holder in the hobby!
Full-time TCG grading in Munich will be conducted by a team consisting of card graders who have relocated from CGC's headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, in addition to locally trained talent. This team ensures that CGC's grading stays consistent with its global standards while also recognizing Germany's card expertise and the nuances of the European card collecting hobby.
CGC uses expert graders, advanced technology and operational excellence to provide collectors with accurate, consistent, affordable and fast certification services. Every card certified by CGC is preserved in a crystal-clear holder and backed by an industry-leading guarantee of authenticity and grade.
More than 10 million cards have already been certified since CGC’s card grading service was established by the Certified Collectibles Group in July 2020. Founded in 1987, the Certified Collectibles Group encompasses the global brands of NGC, PMG, CGC and ASG, each of which is a leader in its collectibles certification category.

Only TCGs are currently eligible for full-time grading in Munich. Submissions of sports cards, non-sports cards and mixed orders of TCGs and sports cards and/or non-sports cards will continue to be shipped with insurance to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. After grading, these submissions are shipped back to the Munich office (again with insurance) to be returned to submitters. For a list of cards that CGC grades, go here.
