CGC Grades Another National Treasures Logoman of NBA Star Victor Wembanyama

Posted on 10/8/2025

The recent certification follows the news of the CGC-certified Logoman of the Spurs center that realized six figures in March.

Earlier this year, CGC® authenticated and graded a coveted Logoman rookie card featuring San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama. On March 29, 2025, the 2023-24 Panini National Treasures Rookie Logoman #RL-WEM Victor Wembanyama graded CGC 9.5 realized $101,260 in a Goldin Auction. While this particular rarity was serial-numbered to only five cards ever made, another even rarer Logoman of the Frenchman has now passed through the CGC grading room.

CGC recently certified and graded a one-of-one 2024-25 Panini National Treasures Treasured Tag Logoman #TTL-VWB Victor Wembanyama that earned a grade of CGC 8.5. As one of the most collected and submitted players in the NBA today, this is arguably one of the most sought-after cards from Wembanyama's sophomore season in San Antonio, especially since it is the only card of its kind in existence.

Panini National Treasures is a premium set geared toward high-end collectors. As is the case with all National Treasures sets, Panini's premium release from the 2024-25 basketball season featured just one pack of cards per hobby box. Each pack consisted of nine cards, including four autographed cards, four memorabilia cards and one base or parallel card.

While rare autographed cards are always popular within the National Treasures sets, Logoman patch cards have become a staple of the series to chase. Logoman cards are considered huge hits that feature an actual patch of the NBA logo that is found on a player's jersey or shorts. Adding a one-of-one Logoman issue like this particular card would be a cornerstone of many Wembanyama collections.

Still only 21 years old and with two NBA seasons under his belt, Wembanyama is still growing in more ways than one. According to multiple reports, he's grown an inch in the offseason and is officially listed at 7'4", tying Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey for the tallest player in the league. In addition, Wembanyama has added some weight and muscle to his thin frame, which should put opponents on alert for his third season.

Yet the hype surrounding Wembanyama is nothing new since it began when he was just a teenager, turning pro at only 15 years old in France. His rare gift as an agile big man helped him progress seamlessly from playing against Europe's elite to being selected No. 1 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, becoming the most-talked-about prospect since LeBron James came out of high school.

Wembanyama has already made his mark on the sport, concluding his rookie season averaging a double-double on 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists per game. He was also the NBA's top shot blocker, leading the entire league with 3.6 blocks per game as a rookie. He improved on those averages in his second year and once again led the league in blocks before his season was cut short because of a shoulder issue. Fully recovered and ready for his third season, Wembanyama is hoping to take the next step and lead the Spurs back to the playoffs for the first time this decade.
