CGC Announces Onyx Trading Card Signing with Top 2025 MLB Prospects Konnor Griffin and Kevin McGonigle

Konnor Griffin is the top prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and was the No. 1 prospect in all of baseball in 2025, according to MLB Pipeline. Still only 19 years old, the Pirates selected the dynamic shortstop with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. Griffin has quickly moved up through the minor league ranks, ending the 2025 season with a .333 batting average, 21 home runs, 94 RBIs and 65 stolen bases during his stints with three minor league teams. He was also selected to represent Pittsburgh at the 2025 All-Star Futures Game and was named Baseball America's Minor League Player of the Year.

Kevin McGonigle is the top prospect in the Detroit Tigers organization and was the No. 2 prospect in all of baseball in 2025, according to MLB Pipeline. The 21-year-old was drafted in the first round (37th overall) by Detroit during the 2023 MLB Draft. A career .319 hitter in the Tigers farm system, McGonigle is already one of the best hitters in the minors. He was also selected to represent Detroit at the 2025 All-Star Futures Game and won the 2025 Midwest League Top MLB Prospect Award.

This exclusive signing is open to ALL domestic CGC members, including members with a free CGC account. CGC must receive all orders for this event by February 14, 2026. If all available spots are filled before this date, the signing will close.

The signing fee for Konnor Griffin's signature is $95 per item and includes:

PLEASE NOTE:

This particular signing event is open to domestic orders only. No international orders will be accepted at this time. This signing will have no mail-in option. An Onyx card will be provided for the signing as part of this service and returned to the customer encapsulated under the CGC Signature Series label upon completion. The cards provided for this signing have been carefully selected by Onyx and are in excellent condition. However, final grades are not guaranteed and will be determined solely through CGC’s standard grading process.

All signature requests must be received by CGC no later than February 14, 2026, to qualify for this signing event. No change requests will be accepted after February 14, 2026. Membership credits and paid membership discounts do not apply to signings. This signing cannot be combined with other CGC Signature Series events. Marker color requests are welcome but not guaranteed. Marker color choice and signature placement are at the final discretion of the signer.
