CGC Cards Hot List: Top 5 English One Piece Promos
Posted on 2/12/2026
The One Piece TCG has surged in popularity over the last few months. More and more submitters are sending their One Piece cards to CGC for expert authentication, grading and encapsulation, and five are standing out among the most-submitted examples from the English release of the TCG. Based on CGC submission data and insights from Gem Rate, the hobby's source for grading trends, here are the top five One Piece cards that were submitted to CGC during December 2025.
CGC Cards’ Hot List: Top 5 English One Piece Cards
Monkey D. Luffy (OP07-109) – Illustration Box Vol. 3 Promo
Promo cards were very popular among submitters in December — in fact, our entire Hot List this month is made up of promo cards — and Luffy is (arguably) the most popular character in One Piece. So, it’s only natural that this promotional Monkey D. Luffy card would be the card that was submitted to CGC the most during the last month of 2025. This card features alternate artwork of the Luffy featured in OP07: 500 Years Into the Future, a set that came out in 2024.
Roronoa Zoro (OP07-113) – Illustration Box Vol. 3 Promo
Among the One Piece Card Game’s most popular products are its Illustration Boxes, which are special promotional collections that include alternate art promo cards and booster packs. Illustration Box Vol. 3 was released in August 2025 and included the Luffy above along with this Roronoa Zoro — Luffy’s right-hand man and another popular One Piece character. According to the CGC Cards Population Report, CGC has graded 201 total examples of this Roronoa Zoro promo card as of February 2026, with 70 of these having been submitted in December 2025 alone!
Tony Tony Chopper (ST01-006) – Premium Collection 25th Anniversary Promo
To celebrate One Piece’s 25th Anniversary, Bandai released a special premium collection containing cards featuring alternate artwork of the Straw Hat Crew. These beautiful full-art cards showcased each of the Straw Hats in full color, with the backgrounds showing off their first appearances in the manga (most of them as their younger selves). Tony Tony Chopper is the crew’s mascot and doctor, and he is very popular among fans. It’s no wonder that more than 50 examples of this card were submitted to CGC during December.
Monkey D. Luffy (ST10-006) – Treasure Booster
In 2024, Bandai released a special One Piece Treasure Booster set. Each box contained four randomly selected booster packs from previous sets, along with this Monkey D. Luffy promo card. The card shows Luffy brandishing his signature grin, while his sword brothers — Ace and Sabo — watch over him in the background. As of February 2026, CGC has certified more than 580 examples of this card according to the CGC Cards Population Report, with dozens of them submitted during December 2025.
Jinbe (ST01-005) – Premium Collection 25th Anniversary Promos
This Jinbe comes from the same 25th Anniversary set as Tony Tony Chopper above, and like Chopper, it features a Straw Hat Crew member in beautiful alternate artwork. CGC received 41 submissions of Jinbe during December, according to GemRate. Jinbe is the latest member to join the Straw Hat Crew and is the only fish-man currently on the crew. He serves as the crew’s helmsman.
