JSA-authenticated Autographs from Megan Thee Stallion / Nickelback Cheetos Campaign Head to Auction

Recently, rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion and rock icons Nickelback teamed up with Cheetos to announce the return of the Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle flavor to their product line. In a fun-filled Cheetos "Pickle's Back" commercial, the unlikely collaboration brings the popular flavor back to store shelves. To make the promotional campaign even more impactful, snack company Frito-Lay tapped JSA®, the world leader in autograph authentication, to witness and authenticate the artists' signatures on 11 signed props that were used in the commercial to be auctioned off for charity through Goldin. Plus, Megan Thee Stallion and members of Nickelback added a unique twist to each auction item: Cheetos dust (or Cheetle) fingerprints.

The new Cheetos ad first aired on March 26, already racking up more than 130,000 views on YouTube alone. The tongue-in-cheek commercial features Megan finding out that Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle was a limited-run flavor. Annoyed, the rapper tells her assistant that she's "got to have pickle back" and adds with emphasis "do it!" Not quite grasping the request, Megan's assistant amusingly thinks the rapper instead requested a "duet" with Canadian rockers "Nickelback," who seem equally as confused but nevertheless agree to the unlikely collab.

Megan and Nickelback remake the band's 2001 hit "How You Remind Me," with a music video that includes a heist of the Cheetos vault and a high-speed truck chase that ends in a giant explosion of red Cheetos dust. As bags of Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle snacks rain down from the sky, Megan is seen surfing through waves of red Cheetle as crowds gather in excitement for the return of the Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle snacks.

During the commercial shoot, Cheetos welcomed a JSA expert on set to witness the artists signing the props used in the video. Each item is now accompanied by a JSA Letter of Authenticity (LOA) verifying the signature's authenticity.

All 11 items from the Cheetos "Pickle's Back" commercial are being offered on Goldin's website starting on Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m. Each item used in the filming of the commercial features an artist's signature, authenticated by JSA, and includes hand-touched Cheeto dust fingerprints, making each piece of memorabilia a truly unique collectible.
