Heritage Offers Pokémon and Magic Cards Graded CGC Gem Mint 10 and CGC Pristine 10

Posted on 5/4/2026

The Gem Mint Trading Card Games Showcase Auction is set to end on May 14.

Dozens of CGC-certified TCGs, including several desirable Pokémon and MTG cards, are being offered in an ongoing Heritage Auctions sale. They are among hundreds of cards in Heritage’s Gem Mint Trading Card Games Showcase Auction, which includes only cards graded Gem Mint 10 or higher. The sale is set to end on May 14, 2026.

Leading the CGC-certified cards in the sale is a Sabrina’s Gengar, Pokémon (2000) Gym Heroes 1st Edition Holo graded CGC Gem Mint 10 (lot 78091). Gengar is a fan-favorite Pokémon, and Sabrina’s Gengar specifically is one of the most iconic Pokémon cards from the Wizards of the Coast era of the Pokémon TCG. Not only does it feature artwork by Ken Sugimori — Pokémon’s primary character designer and art director — but it was extremely powerful in play when it came out. This nostalgia combined with the card's obscurity because of its age makes it very desirable to collectors.

Meanwhile, a Chains of Mephistopheles, Magic: The Gathering (1994) Legends Rare graded CGC Gem Mint 10 (lot 78019) is leading the CGC-certified Magic cards in the sale. Legends was the third expansion for Magic: The Gathering, and it ended up having an extremely low print run. Because of this, the rare cards in the set are very scarce. What’s more, many of the rare cards in Legends are part of MTG’s reserved list — a list of cards that Wizards of the Coast has vowed to never reprint.
