CGC-certified Tom Brady Autographed SuperFractor Realizes Impressive $324,000 Through Fanatics Collect

A one-of-one autographed SuperFractor of arguably the NFL's greatest of all-time realized $324,000, becoming the highest price realized for a CGC-certified football card sold in a Fanatics Collect auction. The rarity was just one of the thousands of CGC-certified sports cards, TCGs, and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in May 2026.

The 2025 Topps Chrome Legend Autographs #CLA-TB Tom Brady - SuperFractor certified CGC Authentic realized $324,000 in a Premier Auction on May 22. As of early June, it is the fourth-highest price ever realized by any CGC-certified sports card on the Fanatics Collect platform. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is widely considered the greatest NFL quarterback of all time and is also one of the most collected athletes of his generation. Since Panini owned the exclusive NFL rights for cards for a large portion of Brady's career, the 2025 Topps Chrome set is one of the few Topps Chrome sets to include the famous QB's signature. To make the rarity even more special, this particular card is the first and only NFL-licensed Topps Chrome SuperFractor autographed by TB12 in the entire hobby.

Another sports highlight from May is a 2023-24 Topps Royalty Superior Jersey Signatures #SJS-VW Victor Wembanyama - Platinum certified CGC Authentic that realized $108,000 on May 22. This particular rarity now holds the record for the highest price realized on the Fanatics Collect platform for a CGC-certified sports card featuring San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama. Still only 22 years old, the 7'4" Frenchman recently led the Spurs back to the NBA Finals for the first time in a dozen years in only his third season in the league. During his rookie season, only a handful of products included premium rookie patch autographs of the San Antonio center, with this particular card featuring a large triple laundry tag, Wembanyama's autograph, and a highly sought-after one-of-one serial number.

Meanwhile, two Gold Star Pokémon cards made waves in Fanatics Collect auctions during the month of May. A Torchic Gold Star, Pokémon (2004) EX Team Rocket Returns Holo graded CGC Gem Mint 10 realized $45,600 on May 17. EX Team Rocket Returns was released during the “dark ages” of the Pokémon TCG — an era where the popularity of Pokémon was at an all-time low — and the set received very limited print runs. Because of this, Torchic Gold Star is an extremely rare card. As of June 2026, CGC has only certified 184 examples of Torchic Gold Star, according to the CGC Cards Population Report, with 14 graded CGC Gem Mint 10 and only three graded higher.

Additionally, a Groudon Gold Star, Pokémon (2005) EX Delta Species Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 realized $36,000 on May 17. Like Torchic, Groudon Gold Star is extremely rare due to limited print runs. According to the CGC Cards Population Report, CGC has certified 186 examples of Groudon Gold Star, with only 2 examples certified CGC Pristine 10.
