CSG Certifies High-Grade Trae Young Card

The experts at Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG™) recently graded an important card featuring Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young: a 2019-20 Panini Mosaic #182 Trae Young Choice Black Gold. It is graded CSG 9.5, with subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 9.5 for Corners, 9.5 for Edges and 9 for Surface.

This summer, Young powered the Hawks to their first Eastern Conference Finals in six years, but they lost the series in July to the Milwaukee Bucks, who went on to win the NBA championship. This month, Young agreed to a contract extension worth up to $207 million.

Young's 2021 playoff run inspired comparisons to LeBron James. Young was only the second player to average at least 28 points per game and at least 9 assists per game in a single playoff run of at least 15 games. James accomplished that feat in 2018.

Earlier this year, a 2003-04 Topps Chrome Refractor #111 LeBron James card graded CSG 9.5 realized $98,100 in a flash auction in March. The card carries the important pedigree of being the first graded by CSG.
