Ready to Play? The CSG Registry Is Here!
Posted on 9/23/2021
Certified Sports Guaranty™(CSG®) is excited to announce that the CSG Registry is now live and ready for your sports cards! Online collectibles registries are popular and powerful tools that benefit collectors by providing inspiration, organization and recognition as collections are shared around the world. With the CSG Registry, sports card collectors will find a superior platform where they can display their CSG-certified cards and compete against other collectors to see who has the best sets.
The CSG Registry has been designed to become the premier online arena for sports card collecting. It’s easy and fun for collectors to add their CSG-certified cards to the CSG Registry using a number of popular and diverse set categories, such as pre-war baseball cards, modern basketball cards and rookie player cards. Plus, new set options are constantly being added by CSG. If a set doesn’t yet exist, collectors can simply submit a request for it to be added.
Collectors can also browse and update CSG Registry sets anytime, anywhere. Built with the latest technology to seamlessly resize on all devices, the CSG Registry can be used on a phone, tablet or desktop computer.
"We are thrilled to launch the CSG Registry, a world-class digital collecting platform that is now available for free to sports card collectors," says Steven R. Eichenbaum, CEO of the Certified Collectibles Group. "To launch the CSG Registry just six months after CSG started accepting submissions is a testament not only to the incredible demand for our expert and impartial services, but also to our company's strong commitment to the hobby."

It’s free and easy to participate in the CSG Registry. Collectors just need a free CSG membership. Not a member? Join now at CSGcards.com/Join >
After logging into CSGcards.com, it’s equally simple to add a card to the CSG Registry by clicking the yellow + symbol anywhere on the CSG website. Next, type in the card’s CSG certification number and click Add. You’ll then be prompted to select sets for your cards.
When a card is added to a set, it receives a point score based on its grade, relative rarity and value. These scores are then totaled and the set is ranked against other sets based on their total scores. Top sets will be eligible for prizes and the recognition that comes with being the best.
To create the ultimate presentation, collectors also have the option to add images (either CSG images, which can be instantly added for free, or their own) and card descriptions. Through the sharing of stories, participating in the CSG Registry is a way to get inspired and inspire others.
"As a sports card grader and lifelong collector, I cannot overstate the positive effect of collectibles registries on the hobby," comments Andy Broome, CSG Senior Vintage Sports Card Grader. "Registries promote collector interest through competition and community, and I am excited to see the incredible cards and sets that will be added to the CSG Registry."
So what are you waiting for? Add your cards, display your sets, earn points and get recognition in the premier online arena for sports card collecting.
