CSG Grades Classic Hulk Hogan Card On-site in Tampa

Professional wrestling has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a diverse group of organizations. Today, the world of wrestling may look quite different, but one name has spanned generations to become almost synonymous with it: Hulk Hogan.

Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) had the pleasure of grading this 1982 Wrestling All Stars #2 Hulk Hogan that was submitted on-site at the Tampa Collectors Con, held December 10-12, 2021. The card received a grade of CSG 8.

The yellow background stands out against the white shield and photo of a young Hulk Hogan on the front of the card, while the back of the card features a description of his wrestling career and his duels with Andre the Giant.

The 1982 Wrestling All Stars set features 36 cards as well as a Series B set of lesser-known wrestlers. The cards were only available through a mail-order advertisement in Wrestling News magazine. Each set was $5, and because of the way they were wrapped and shipped, high-grade cards are difficult to find. The set features such names as Andre the Giant, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair and Jerry Lawler. Only a few thousand sets are believed to have ever been produced.
