CSG-graded Card with Federer and Nadal Signatures Sells for $6,000 from PWCC Vault

Many cards graded by Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) were sold on the PWCC Marketplace in the month of September, but the top highlight was a 2011 Ace Authentic EX Dual Signatures #DS 1-5 Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal graded CSG 9. It sold for $6,000 from the PWCC Vault on September 16, 2022.

The 2011 card is signed by tennis champions Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, and it is the only example of this card, of any grade, recorded in the CSG Population Report.

Roger Federer debuted on the ATP Tour in 1998 as a Wildcard entry in Gstaad. He holds the record for most Grand Slam men’s singles championships with 20 titles. Federer has won a record 33 ATP World Tour Awards including ATP No. 1 five times.

Rafael Nadal is an all-time leader with 22 Grand Slam men’s singles titles. He is the only men’s player in history to achieve career Grand Slams twice and win 2 Olympic gold medals. Nadal got the better of Federer in their 40 match-ups over the years, winning 24 of them.

Also sold on the PWCC Marketplace in September was a 2000 Bowman Chrome #236 Tom Brady graded CSG 9.5. It went for $3,960 on September 11, 2022. Tom Brady, considered the GOAT when it comes to professional football, has led his team to a Super Bowl victory seven times, been named the Super Bowl MVP five times, earned the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award three times and was named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in 2005.

• a 1955 Bowman #184 Willie Mays graded CSG 6.5 that sold for $1,260 on September 4, 2022
• a 1986-87 Fleer Stickers #8 Michael Jordan graded CSG 8.5 that sold for $1,260 on September 11, 2022
• a 1955 Bowman $179 Hank Aaron graded CSG 6.5 that sold for $840 on September 4, 2022
• a 2009 Sports Illustrated for Kids #360 Lewis Hamilton graded CSG 6 that sold for $690 on September 4, 2022
