CGC-certified SuperFractor of Duke Star Cooper Flagg Tops March Fanatics Collect Auctions

Posted on 4/8/2025

Last month's top sellers also included a rare parallel of Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, as well as two rare Japanese Pokémon cards.

Another extremely rare SuperFractor that is certified by CGC Cards™ and features a college basketball superstar realized $28,800 in Fanatics Collect's 166th Weekly Sunday Auction. The rarity was just one of the thousands of CGC-certified TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in March 2025.

A 2024 Topps Chrome McDonald's All-American Autographs #78 Cooper Flagg - SuperFractor certified CGC Authentic realized $28,800 on March 23. One of the earliest one-of-one rarities of Flagg's career, this SuperFractor is tied to his final year in high school, when he took part in the McDonald's All-American game, which featured the top high schoolers in the class of 2024. The athletic forward from Maine is the most talked-about young player in years, and now that Duke's season has come to an end in the Final Four, Flagg could possibly be the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Another sports highlight from March's Fanatics Collect sales is a low-numbered parallel of this past NFL season's Offensive Rookie of the Year. A 2024 Panini Prizm #347 Jayden Daniels - Gold certified CGC Authentic realized $24,600 on March 4. Selected by the Washington Commanders with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the former LSU quarterback had one of the best debut seasons ever for a rookie. Daniels led the Commanders to an impressive 12-5 regular season record, earning Washington a playoff spot and winning the team's first postseason game in almost two decades. In fact, Daniels and his teammates won two playoff games before losing in the NFC Championship to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. The future looks bright in Washington.

Meanwhile, hundreds of CGC-certified TCGs were sold through Fanatics Collect in March as well, with the top highlight being a Pikachu, Pokémon (2015) Japanese XY & BREAK Promo - 175/XY-P Battle Festa 2015 Event Organizer graded CGC Gem Mint 10, which sold for $11,400 on March 20. Staff who were hired as Event Organizers during the 2015 Festa convention received this card as a thank-you for their hard work during the Battle Festa events. The Pikachu promo has a notable "Event Organizer" stamp on the bottom-right corner of the card, which isn't present on normal promos given out to other 2015 Festa attendees.

Additionally, a Charizard Gold Star, Pokémon (2006) Japanese Offense & Defense Furthest Ends Holo graded CGC Gem Mint 10 realized $10,200 on March 30. This is the Japanese version of the coveted Charizard Gold Star card from Dragon Frontiers, which nearly always demands a high price on the secondary market, making it one of the most valuable Charizard cards in the Pokémon TCG. Fans who open Offense & Defense Furthest Ends booster packs only have a 1 in 72 chance of pulling this dragon, so it's no wonder the card is so coveted by collectors today.

The Round Mound of Rebound was one of the best players of his generation, earning 11 All-Star selections, five All-NBA First Team selections and the 1993 NBA MVP award during his iconic career. Today, Sir Charles works as an NBA analyst as part of arguably the most beloved panel in sports alongside Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson, who make up the core of TNT's Inside the NBA.
