CSG Certifies High-grade Tom Brady Leaf Rookie Card

The experts at Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) were excited to recently certify a 2000 Leaf Rookies and Stars #134 Tom Brady rookie card. This is only the second example of this card in the CSG Population Report, and both are graded CSG Gem Mint 10. Each card is easily valued at several thousand dollars.

When Tom Brady was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, his future was anything but secure. He was picked number 199 overall and was the seventh quarterback to be selected that year. Twenty years later, however, Tom Brady is widely recognized as one of the best quarterbacks to have ever played the game. He has won seven Super Bowls, been named the Super Bowl MVP five times, been named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player three times and was named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in 2005. He holds a host of NFL records, including most passing completions and most touchdown passes.
